For Technicians and MOT Testers working on high voltage systems of Hybrid Electric Vehicles.
This course identifies the safety precautions to be taken when working on or near high voltage electric/hybrid vehicles. Therefore, this applies not just to automotive technicians but also, for example emergency services staff, body shop technicians/MET.
This course is both practical and theoretical and demonstrates hybrid/electric vehicle technology and repair procedures. This unit also ensures that the learner is aware of the affects that hybrid technology has on other vehicle systems.
This qualification meets the requirements of the National Occupational Standards required for BSI and PAS 125.
The course is delivered over one day with prior reading requirement and is limited to a maximum of four candidates.
